Week #1 of Extreme DONE

Good Morning MONDAY!!!

New week!  Lets do this!!
Week #1 done and on to week #2 of 21 Day Fix Extreme.  Whoop Whoop!

SUCH a busy weekend this weekend with being Mother's day weekend.  We also did a lot of spring cleaning around the house.  The weather was GORGEOUS wasn't it!!  Perfect Mothers Day weekend!  Hopefully you had some time to spend outside this weekend.

I hope you all were weekend warriors and kept up with your workouts and followed your eating plan. I still kept up with the workouts each day, but to be honest I did enjoy a couple treats on Mother's Day.  My kids made me do it ;)

I'm finding that now when I'm closer to my goals or when we're in "maintenance mode" it's harder to be fully committed with the eating.  I'm still making sure I have my Shakeology for great nutrition each day, but I am sneaking some treats here and there that I know will add add up.
And that's fine here and there, but I do have this new goal to shoot for at the end of the month, eek!!
More details on that later.

SO, it's game face time !!!  Time to gear up again, get focused on the eating, and push harder through the 30 minute workouts.

Took some time last night to make up my meal plan for this week.

I have also scheduled the workouts that I want to attack and accomplish this week too.  I'm following the 21 Day fix calender this week.

You can see that the food for the weekend is not completed as of yet.  During the week I know what to expect so I can plan my regular meals that way, even prep the lunches and snacks ahead of time. The weekends are another story as I'm sure you have busy weekends too.  We just got to shoot for our best !

I know I can count on the morning eggs my hubby makes when he's home and the snacks I can prepare ahead of time, but for lunch and dinner those are the container guidelines I will hopefully stick to.  Room for switching it up that way.

I decided to add 10 Minute abs to each day since this is the area I have always struggled with.

Everyone has a spot they'd like to improve on.  For some it's legs or their booty or their arms.  For me it's the middle.  That's just always been the spot it sits, for as long as I can remember.  Even before having 3 kids.  It's the hardest area for me to shape up.  But I can tell you since cutting out most bread and dairy I've noticed a HUGE difference already with the bloating in that area.  So, if you struggle with this area as well, maybe take a look at how much bread and milk product you're consuming. Everyone is different though.

As you can see from my meal plan, the containers are divided out throughout the day to make sure I'm eating a balanced diet.  Each day you have a certain number of coloured containers to fill so it's just about choosing the foods you enjoy from each list of container foods you get in the nutrition guide and dividing it out throughout the day.  It's plenty of food.  You aren't counting calories, just checking off container servings.  It just works for our family too.  They do eat differently throughout the day but they enjoy the dinners I make when following this so I'm not cooking two different meals.

Plan is to follow the regular 21 Day Fix program this week and then for the last 3 weeks of the month I will follow the Count Down to Competition plan.  I tried following it a couple weeks ago but got off track, so since I have a goal for the end of the month, I really would like to try following that again.

I have tried many programs, Insanity, PiYo, and P90X3, but I just keep coming back to the Fix program.  It's just SO simple.  Simple eating plan, simple and quick daily workouts.  I never seem to get bored of these videos.   I think it's because she's so motivating and they're quick.  Anyone can fit in 30 min for themselves to get it done.

So here's to another week!!!  (virtual high five!)

Lets push ourselves just a little bit harder than last week.
Plan those meals (feel free to follow the one above) and lets make this week a great one.

Did you have any accomplishments from last week?  I want to hear about your accomplishments!

Feel free to message me or contact me on Facebook :)

Lets keep each other motivated!
